Island Docs was born from a frustration familiar to many Jamaicans living abroad.
The long queues at Jamaican consular offices. The uncertainty of figuring out exactly which forms and supporting documents are required. The frustration of having an application returned because of a minor error. And, in some cases, the significant expense of traveling back to Jamaica simply to renew or replace an important document.
We knew there had to be an easier way.
Island Docs bridges the geographic gap between Jamaicans living abroad and the document-processing system back home. We assist clients with navigating processes involving key Jamaican public authorities, including the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA), Registrar General’s Department (RGD), and Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ).

Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, entrepreneur and transatlantic liaison specialist Andre Rodricques understands firsthand the challenges Jamaicans living abroad can face when trying to obtain, renew, or replace important documents.
After years of experience handling various Jamaican document processes, Andre recognized a recurring problem: people often knew what document they needed but didn’t know the right process, requirements, or trusted source to help them get it done.
That experience became part of the inspiration behind Island Docs.
Andre’s mission is to ensure that every client who chooses Island Docs receives a service defined by attention to detail, thorough document review, clear communication, and genuine customer care.
